Thanksgiving Photos

A Lovely Thanksgiving Bouquet from my Aunt Arlene in Ohio
Last year we had a shrimp dinner at our house for Thanksgiving. This year we went to Abilene, KS to eat at the Historic Kirby House Restaurant.  After a fine lunch, my folks, Mike and I came back to our house and viewed a video from old times and a slide show of older times. Later we shared a supper of spinach quiche, pie and coffee. Mom made the pies and quiche which were the best! Yummmm!

I took this photo of a slide projected on the big screen so it has a loss of quality, but it was a grand treat to see some slides from the 60's!
My brother Steve and me at Christmas as little tykes. (I'm thinking Mom or Dad asked us to give a kiss to make a sweet photo. And I think it worked!) Steve got this awesome metal fire truck and in another photo I got a cute rocking horse. Dig the funky television?

The slide projector propped up on a New American Standard Exhaustive Concordance with duck taped binding, which has served well as a concordance as well as a booster seat, and other various heightening occasions.

Wish I could've been there! Glad you had a good time. We need to get together soon when we are all well and I have a voice again.
