Lakerol

We buy Lakerol locally. I've come to like it a lot!

I wondered about the ads for Lakerol... What sort of international reputation does Lakerol have? How is Lakerol promoted and advertised?  Here are four older commercials. The first two in Swedish and the last two in English: (Total time for 4 videos= 3 minutes 9 seconds)

If you find Lakerol... you should buy it and try it.  There. I've said it!
"Lakerol. Makes people talk."

Pipe Hype

Something intrigues me about these above ground pipes along Water Well Road. I don't know why, but I have some ideas. Mike is patient while I snap photos and contemplate the fact and act of trying different camera settings... on pipes!

Lay Hold. Hold fast.

Chrissy and Christine
This photo was taken at the memorial service for Christine's birth brother who committed suicide.  Christine had not met the family who adopted two of her brothers until the memorial service yesterday.  She was received with open arms and is standing here with her brothers' adoptive sister.
If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.
Psalm 139:9,10
"Your hands that shaped the world are holding me. They hold me still."

"One day You will set all things right."

As I look back and recall this day-gone-by, I'm struck by the rapid passing of time, changes and eternal hope.

This was taken when we lived in the country several years ago.   It's a rare favorite of my Mom, "the girls" and me. There have been so many changes since then... and some things remain unchanged. Love, sweet love.

Along the Road:

Field Tower and Storm Clouds with just a bit of time lapse.

Just sayin': "Oi, Oi, Oil!"

] Kansas oil wells in a summer harvested wheat field! Thunderclouds overhead!

A metal man is holding a metal Bible and pointing. What's he saying?

I don't know! There are other metal men, women, children and animals around Ellsworth. Maybe I'll take photos of more metal men.  Maybe.

I spy Metal Man.

Deer Shots

Snapshots of deer from out and about: (These aren't great photos, but it's always fun to spot and "shoot" deer!)

Delight

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:9-11
