Dry Bones

"These dry bones cry
These dry bones cry for you To live and move 'Cause only You can raise the dead Can lift my head up"

Ezekiel 37:1-10

When Autumn Leaves Start to Fall (Eva Cassidy sings)

Autumn is probably my favorite season! I love the cooler and colorful crispness!  But I must say, though I miss Mom in every season, Autumn is most poignant, especially "when Autumn Leaves start to fall…" So this lovely song helps relieve some blues in the midst of Autumn golds:

Oh, the wonders of duct tape!

Since my Bible cover was coming apart, I decided to try some duct tape. I was thinking classic gray, but purple and paisley presented a more colorful option! Thanks to Mike for helping!

"Late Have I Loved You"

Late have I loved you, O Beauty ever ancient, ever new, late have I loved you!  You were within me, but I was outside, and it was there that I searched for you.

In my unloveliness I plunged into the lovely things which you created. You were with me, but I was not with you.
Created things kept me from you; yet if they had not been in you they would have not been at all., ever new, late have I loved you! In my unloveliness I plunged into the lovely things which you created. You were with me, but I was not with you. Created things kept me from you; yet if they had not been in you they would have not been at all.  You called, you shouted, and you broke through my deafness. You flashed, you shone, and you dispelled my blindness. You breathed your fragrance on me; I drew in breath and now I pant for you. I have tasted you, now I hunger and thirst for more. You touched me, and I burned for your peace.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Laurent House in Rockford, Illinois is the only Wright home designed specifically for wheelchair accessibility.
“The video was taken at "A Party at Frank's House," a celebration of the new museum that is set to open Spring 2013 in Rockford, IL. The home was designed for the Laurents by Frank Lloyd Wright. It's the only home FLW designed for an individual in a wheelchair. He called this home his 'Little Gem'"
