Goats in Green Pasture Under a Stormy Sky

I was so enjoying my goat subjects that I hadn't checked my surroundings… Thankfully Mike glanced into the rearview mirror and warned me about the vicious farm dog running up to my window while my arm and camera were sticking out… Just in time! Below is the pic that could have meant loss of a camera or worse!

I would have liked to snap a pic of the vicious black farm dog,
but it didn't seem wise at the time!

Here's the Thing: Skaterheads (Rodney Mullen, Alexander Rademaker and Brett Novak)

I guess "Skaterhead" runs in the family… While Mike and I were watching another brilliant Brett Novak Short Skate Film, Mike comments that Alexander Rademaker is undoubtedly a unique skater, yet his style reminds him of Rodney Mullen. I agree then laugh and call us two old "skaterheads". We are Two Old Skaterheads and probably "Too Old Skaterheads"! Either way:

Mom

Like a little girl with her blanket... Watching this film sharpens the grief, but also brings small comfort as I remember Mama.

How Firm a Foundation- Performed by Chelsea Moon and the Franz Brothers-

How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,
Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word!
What more can He say than to you He hath said,
You, who unto Jesus for refuge have fled?

The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose,
I will not, I will not desert to its foes;
That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I’ll never, no never, no never forsake.

How Firm a Foundation

"Even down to old age all My people shall prove
My sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love;
And when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn,
Like lambs they shall still in My bosom be borne.

The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose,
I will not, I will not desert to its foes;
That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I’ll never, no never, no never forsake."

"This is one of the most powerful clips I have ever seen. Gladys Wilson is in the later stages of her experience of dementia - we often step back & let the person go seeing only a shell. This teaches us that everybody can be reached. I felt some discomfort watching initially but had to put that down to my arrogance when I saw the end, please have a look!" Gill (As seen on facebook.)
