Hawaii!!!- I'm not sure I will ever physically travel to Hawaii where my Uncle and family live and where my Grandma lived for awhile and loved always!!! Thankfully I can now visit Oahu, Hawaii via Jason Park's skateboard! (Amazing!!)
The link below to photographer Kelton Woodburn''s blog, "Tropically Observed", features some wonderful photos and more about the making of the skate film and adventure: "Forever My Home" starring Jason Park".

The Weight of Books

Image
Our daughter (Thanks, Liv!) and grandson (Thanks, Sean!) were gracious to help me sort and pack books from our bookshelves. Sean took opportunity to draw on boxes during down time. I noticed this drawing captured the kind of weariness I think weall felt after packing too many boxes of books (some are going away) and reminded me of Ecclesiastes 12:12. "But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body." Ecclesiastes 12:12

"And the proper exposition can switch up your disposition."

Beautiful Eulogy- An Open Letter To Whoever's Listening

Lyrics: http://www.invubu.com/lyrics/show/Beautiful_Eulogy/An_Open_Letter_To_Whoever's_Listening.html

Here's the Thing: Why? A Skateboarding Short Film

"WHY do we skateboard? We do it for the love of it. We do it for the excitement. And we do it for those who don't have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of it."
And to that I say, "Sincere thanks for sharing the beauty! Skate on!"
