I miss the wide open spaces of Kansas. I now live in SC, which is covered by uninteresting pine trees, which ALWAYS block the horizon. After living here for 10+ years I have only seen 2 or 3 sunsets. :-( Which is a minor tragedy!

I love the 3rd picture especially for color, texture, mood. You are quite good with a camera!

Tim- After being used to wide open spaces and looking out over miles and miles, it is hard to adjust to blocked views! !I've heard it said that all the wide open space of KS can lead to nervousness in some folks. I've never experienced nervousness from that, but I think I can understand the shock of wide open if denseness is the norm!

Zoanna- I'm so often frustrated with the camera or the photos- most likely due to ignorance or unthankfulness. So thank you for the encouragement!

The sunset is gorgeous, the country road/landscape photo is lovely. The train is artistically inspired. Love them.

I do love Kansas, but I think this Winter is making me weary...

Liv- I appreciate your comment! :) Thankfully Spring is around the corner! It's been a mild winter, but even so, winter seems to drag on come springtime! I hope it will only "drag on" and not be a "dragon" in springtime!!!
