Here's the Thing

Fried butterfly shrimp takes turkey's place on our Thanksgiving table. This is some kind of confession,
but it's not an apology.
If shrimp would ever take turkey's place at Thanksgiving tables across America, what kind of decorations would kids make?

That's funny...but shrimp can replace turkey anyday on my table. Shrimp is my favorite seafood!

"Who would like to do the honors of carving the shrimp?" Me, me, me!

My son was just telling me last night of a friend whose family tries a different cuisine every T'giv. This year it includes shrimp. Great minds (and taste buds) think alike!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm checking yours out right now. Laughing and crying, I do them both daily I think. I can be such a mess.
What a novel idea - changing the main course each Thanksgiving and coming up with a table center piece. I'm seeing "Dancing Salmon", shrimp shaped napkin rings,. . . .oh so many ideas that could come from it.
