I've mentioned Mike's pull toward back roads.
Have I mentioned my appreciation and reluctance of traveling these roads and how they cause me to call upon God's mercy?

Ah, I can certainly understand your appreciation and reluctance to go down these back roads--er trails? God's mercy needed for sure. I mean a couple of them might as well have a sign posted, "No one but God can find you here!"

Hey! I saw a sign like that! And the small print read "And whoever God sends! In case of emergency: Pray first and wait for a farmer with a tractor or a 4-wheel-drive tough truck."

I have to say dad is brave, but that is only from my not so pleasant experiences with back roads. I do love them though too. Very pretty!
