"If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans."

This quote, recently taken from the movie Bella made me laugh! There is some truth in this thought. It reminded me of verses from Proverbs 16:1-33 "The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord." "The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps."

Oh how true! I have tried so many times to make my own way in life and then wondered why? Why did it not work out? Why did I not like things after I planned and worked so hard for it? When we listen to our Heavenly Father and allow Him to direct our steps, oh how wonderful things can be! Thanks for the reminder!
